A+ and Network+ Certification are testing programs sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (Comp TIA) to certify the competency of service technicians. Anyone who wants to have nationally recognized credentials as a competent computer technician should have both these certificates. The program is supported by major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, retailers and publications, as well as leading industry service organizations.

A+ Certification Preparation Core

This core course, taught by certified technicians and instructors, helps prepare you for the A+ Certification exam. Prerequisite: Computer Electronics/Construction or Computer Repair, Peripherals, and Applications. Textbook included.

Network+ Certification

Go further in your networking career! Network+ is the logical step to follow A+ Certification. This course prepares technicians for CompTIA's new vendor-neutral, certification exam. Course includes both lecture and labs mapped to CompTIA's Blueprint for Network+ exam. Receive a CD-ROM containing interactive practice tests and labs. Students will purchase a study guide. Prerequisite: A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge.
